Requirements

  • Content submitted can be in either article or video format and must revolve around health and wellness themes or topics.
     

  • Content submitted can either be in English, Malay or Mandarin.
     

  • To qualify your content submission as an entry for this campaign, you must include the #SihatCergas hashtag in your submission title, and select #SihatCergas in the ‘NCC campaign’ field. Failure to include both will result in the submission not being considered as a campaign entry.
     

  • Article submission must be at least 300 words in length and contain at least one (1) image, with proper credit.
     

  • Video submission must be at least 60 seconds in duration and accompanied by a description of at least 100 words.
     

  • Ensure your content is original and free from plagiarism. Failure to adhere to this guideline will result in the rejection of your submission.
     

  • Content submitted is to be exclusive to Newswav and not shared with other media outlets/publishers.
     

  • Video content shall not be taken from any other platform/websites and the owner of the submitted content should be solely the creator.
     

  • Participants must share the published content in the form of Newswav link on Facebook, Instagram Stories, or X within the campaign period in order to be eligible. Comments do not count as sharing, and your social media account must be set to public for verification purposes.

Grand Prize x3

*In order to be eligible for the grand prize, creator must have at least 5 published content that qualify for prize selections.

NOTE:
To qualify for any of the prize selections, each of your entry must meet the following criteria:
- English content: Achieve a minimum of 2,000 views and 80 engagements
- Mandarin content: Achieve a minimum of 1,000 views and 50 engagements
- Bahasa Melayu content: Achieve a minimum of 500 views and 30 engagements
Each participant can win at most: 
- One (1) Grand Prize or One (1) Most Shared Content Prize, but not both and;
- One (1) NW Top Picks and;
- Three (3) Health & Wellness Creator Bonus
eg: Participants can win the Grand Prize, NW Top Picks and Health & Wellness Creator Bonus.

Terms and Condition

CONTEST PERIOD

1. The #SihatCergas NCC Campaign (the “Contest”) is organised by Newswav Sdn. Bhd (“the Organiser”).

2. The Contest will commence from 3 September 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm to 10 December 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm (above dates inclusive) (the “Contest Period”).

3. However, the period for you to submit your entry will start from 3 September 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm to 3 December 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm (above dates inclusive) (the “Submission Period”).

 

CONTEST ELIGIBILITY

4. The Contest is open to all Malaysians who fulfil the following criteria (the “Participants"):

   i) are Newswav users

   ii) is a citizen of Malaysia or residing in Malaysia

 

CONTENT SUBMISSION & REQUIREMENTS

5. Content submitted can be in either article or video format and must revolve around health and wellness themes or topics.

6. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any submissions that are non-relevant or forcefully related to the theme. 

7. Content submitted can either be in English, Bahasa Melayu or Mandarin.

8. To qualify your Content submission as an entry for this campaign, you must include the #SihatCergas hashtag in your submission title, and select #SihatCergas in the ‘NCC campaign’ field. Failure to include both will result in the submission not being considered as a campaign entry.

9. Article submissions must be at least 300 words in length and contain at least one (1) image, with proper credit.

13. Participants must share the published content in the form of Newswav link (e.g. newswav.com/xxx)  on Facebook, Instagram, or X within the campaign period in order to be eligible.

       i) Facebook / X: Sharing must be done as a post (links shared in comments and Facebook Stories do not count).

       ii) Instagram: Only sharing on Instagram Stories is accepted (sharing on Instagram posts does not count).

14. Participants' social media accounts must be set to public, and proof of sharing must be provided upon request.

 

WINNER SELECTION

15. Grand Prize x3: Up to three (3) creators with the highest total views across all of their published content for this campaign will each be rewarded with 7 cartons of Spritzer Natural Mineral Water Big Pack Size every month for 3 months (worth RM500) and RM250 cash prize.

   i) There may be instances where the winners are fewer than three (3).

   ii) To be eligible for the grand prize, participants must have at least five (5) published content that qualify for the prize selections.

16. Most Shared Content Award x5: Up to five (5) content with the highest number of shares in a single article/video across all three languages will be eligible for this prize. Each winner will receive 12 cartons of Spritzer’s Natural Mineral Water and RM150 cash prize.

   i) There may be instances where the winners are fewer than five (5).

17. NW Top Picks x20: Newswav will select up to 20 outstanding articles and/or videos, and each winner will receive 6 cartons of Spritzer’s Natural Mineral Water and RM50 cash prize.

   i) There may be instances where the winners are fewer than twenty (20).

18. Health & Wellness Creator Bonus x50: The first 50 content written by creators with a professional background in health and wellness will each receive 3 cartons of Spritzer’s Natural Mineral Water and RM50 cash prize.

   i) There may be instances where the winners are fewer than 50.

   ii) Creators must email us certification/documentation verifying their professional background to be eligible for this bonus. Each creator can receive the bonus for a maximum of three (3) pieces of content, capped at RM150 in total per creator.

19. To qualify for any of the prize selections, each of your entry must meet the following criteria:

   i) English content: Achieve a minimum of 2,000 views and 80 engagements

  ii) Mandarin content: Achieve a minimum of 1,000 views and 50 engagements

 iii) Bahasa Melayu content: Achieve a minimum of 500 views and 30 engagements

20. Each participant can win at most:

eg: Participants can win the Grand Prize, NW Top Picks and Health & Wellness Creator Bonus.

21. Winners shall be solely determined by the Organiser, whose decision shall be deemed final. No correspondence or appeal(s) will be entertained.

 

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT & PRIZE REDEMPTION

22. Winner announcements will be made via email to the winner(s) on January 13, 2025 (Monday), 12pm.

23. Winners must provide their NRIC copy and a screenshot of their winning content shared on social media during the contest period for verification and to claim their prize. Failure to do so may result in prize revocation.

24. Winners who fail to reply to the email within seven (7) days will have their prize forfeited.

25. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or refundable in any way.

 

GENERAL

26. All costs and expenses in connection with the production of the Content and the participation of this Contest shall be fully borne by the Participants.

27. Content submitted must not be vague, illegal, or unlawful, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libellous, offensive, must not infringe any third party’s legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or the Organiser or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). User Content must be researched beforehand and be of truth.

28. The Organiser reserves the right to reject, edit or remove any of the Participants’ content at the discretion of the Organiser, at any time.

29. By submitting the Content, The Organiser has the rights to use the Entries or material submitted for library, promotional, or commercial use globally.

 

DECLARATION & AUTHORISATION

30. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to postpone, reschedule and/or extend the Contest Period and/or terminate the Contest at any given time without prior notice.

31. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the mechanics, prizes, and terms & conditions of the Contest, as well as other aspects of the Contest at its absolute discretion without prior notice.

32. By participating in this Contest, the Participants are deemed to have read and understood and have agreed to comply with all terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set forth in this section (as varied or changed).
