Syarat Kempen

Kandungan boleh dihantar dalam format artikel atau video, dan mesti bertemakan penghargaan anda terhadap Malaysia.

Anda boleh mencipta kandungan sama ada dalam Bahasa Inggeris, Bahasa Melayu atau Mandarin.

Kandungan anda mesti memasukkan hashtag #MalaysiaKita dalam tajuknya.

Kandungan tanpa hashtag tidak akan dikira.

Artikel mestilah sekurang-kurangnya 300 patah perkataan dan mengandungi sekurang-kurangnya 1 imej atau 1 video.

Tempoh video mestilah sekurang-kurangnya 60 saat dengan penerangan (kapsyen) sekurang-kurangnya 20 perkataan.

Setiap peserta hanya dibenarkan menghantar maksimum 10 kandungan setiap minggu, tanpa mengira bahasa dan format (artikel/video). Sebarang penyerahan tambahan akan dibatalkan secara automatik.

Kandungan mestilah unik dan tidak diplagiat. Kandungan yang dihantar adalah eksklusif untuk Newswav dan tidak boleh diterbitkan dengan media/penerbit lain.

Terms & Conditions
CONTEST PERIOD
1. The #GenZ NCC Campaign (the “Contest”) is organised by Newswav Sdn. Bhd (“the Organiser”).
2. The Contest will commence from 18 June 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm to 24 September 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm (above dates inclusive) (the “Contest Period”).
3. However, the period for you to submit your entry will start from 18 June 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm to 17 September 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm (above dates inclusive) (the “Submission Period”).
CONTEST ELIGIBILITY
4. The Contest is open to all Malaysians who fulfil the following criteria (the “Participants"):
i) are Newswav users
ii) aged 18-28 years old (as of their date of birth)
iii) is a citizen of Malaysia or residing in Malaysia
CONTENT SUBMISSION & REQUIREMENTS
5. Content submitted can be in article or video format (the “Content” or “Entry”) and must revolve around GenZ themes or topics such as studies (experience, difficulties, tips), sharing of information (fashion, food, attractions), or even a personal vlog/blog of your day.
6. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any submissions that are non-relevant or forcefully related to the theme.
7. Content submitted can either be in English, Bahasa Melayu or Mandarin.
8. To qualify your Content submission as an entry for this campaign, you must include the #GenZ hashtag in your submission title, and select #GenZ in the ‘NCC campaign’ field. Failure to include both will result in the submission not being considered as a campaign entry.
9. Article submissions must be at least 300 words in length and contain at least one (1) image, with proper credit.
10. Video submissions must be at least 60 seconds in duration and accompanied by a minimum 100-word description.
11. Ensure your content is original and free from plagiarism. Failure to adhere to this guideline will result in the rejection of your submission.
12. Content submitted is to be exclusive to Newswav and not shared with other media outlets/publishers.
13. Participants must share the published content in the form of Newswav link on Facebook, Instagram, or X within the campaign period in order to be eligible.
i) Facebook / X: Sharing must be done as a post (links shared in comments and Facebook Stories do not count).
ii) Instagram: Only sharing on Instagram Stories is accepted (sharing on Instagram posts does not count).
14. Participants' social media accounts must be set to public, and proof of sharing must be provided upon request.
WINNER SELECTION
15. Grand Prize (x3): Up to three (3) creators with the highest total views across all of their published content for this campaign will each be rewarded with a 3D2N stay at Kloe Hotel.
i) 2 Grand Prize open to GenZ creators and 1 Grand Prize open to all
ii) There may be instances where the winners are fewer than three (3).
16. Most Shared Content Award (x15): Up to fifteen (15) Gen Z creators with the highest number of shares across all published content will be eligible for this prize. Each winner will receive two tickets for 5 Luge Rides each & Skyride at Gamuda Skyline Luge.
i) There may be instances where the winners are fewer than fifteen (15).
17. NW Top Picks (x30): Newswav will select and announce up to 10 outstanding content each month during the campaign period, and each winner will receive a cash prize of RM50.
a) For content published during Jun 18 - 30, 2024, Newswav will pick up to five (5) best content (articles/videos).

b) For content published during July 1 - 31, 2024, Newswav will pick up to ten (10) best content (articles/videos).

18. To qualify for any of the prize selections, each of your entry must meet the following criteria:
i) English content: Achieve a minimum of 2,000 views and 80 engagements
ii) Mandarin content: Achieve a minimum of 1,000 views and 50 engagements
iii) Bahasa Melayu content: Achieve a minimum of 500 views and 30 engagements
19. Each participant can win at most:

One (1) Grand Prize or One (1) Most Shared Prize, but not both; and
-
One (1) Newswav Top Picks
*e.g Individual A could win either 1 Grand Prize and 1 Newswav Top Picks; or 1 Most Shared Prize and 1 Newswav Top Picks.
20. Winners shall be solely determined by the Organiser, whose decision shall be deemed final. No correspondence or appeal(s) will be entertained.
22. Gen Z creator refers to creators aged 28 years old and below (as of their date of birth).
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT & PRIZE REDEMPTION
21. Winner announcements will be made via email to the winner(s) on October 15, 2024 (Tuesday), 12pm.
22. Winners must provide their NRIC copy and a screenshot of their winning content shared on social media during the contest period for verification and to claim their prize. Failure to do so may result in prize revocation.
23. Winners who fail to reply to the email within seven (7) days will have their prize forfeited.
24. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or refundable in any way.
GENERAL
25. All costs and expenses in connection with the production of the Content and the participation of this Contest shall be fully borne by the Participants.
26. Content submitted must not be vague, illegal, or unlawful, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libellous, offensive, must not infringe any third party’s legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or the Organiser or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). User Content must be researched beforehand and be of truth.
27. The Organiser reserves the right to reject, edit or remove any of the Participants’ content at the discretion of the Organiser, at any time.
28. By submitting the Content, The Organiser has the rights to use the Entries or material submitted for library, promotional, or commercial use globally.
DECLARATION & AUTHORISATION
29. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to postpone, reschedule and/or extend the Contest Period and/or terminate the Contest at any given time without prior notice.
30. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the mechanics, prizes, and terms & conditions of the Contest, as well as other aspects of the Contest at its absolute discretion without prior notice.
31. By participating in this Contest, the Participants are deemed to have read and understood and have agreed to comply with all terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) set forth in this section (as varied or changed).
