Requirements

Content submitted can either be in English, Malay or Mandarin.

Content submitted must be in either article or video format and must revolve around the campaign’s theme.

Your content submission must include the #CutiCutiLocal hashtag in the title. Submissions without the hashtag will not be counted as an entry for this campaign.

Article submission must be at least 100 words and contain at least 1 image or 1 video.

Video submission must be at least 30 seconds in duration with a minimum of 20 words description.

Each participant is only allowed to submit a maximum of 10 content per week, regardless of language and format (article/video). Any additional submissions will be disqualified automatically.

Content must be unique and not plagiarised. Content submitted is to be exclusive to Newswav and not shared with other media outlets/publishers.

Participants must share the published content in the form of Newswav link (e.g. newswav.com/xxx) on their social media platform(s), including the #CutiCutiLocal hashtag and tag 5 friends. Do ensure the post privacy is set to “Public”.

Terms & Conditions
CONTEST PERIOD
1. The #CutiCutiLocal Campaign (the “Contest”) is organised by Newswav Sdn. Bhd (“the Organiser”).
2. The Contest will commence from May 9 - June 30, 2022 (both dates inclusive) (the “Contest Period”).
CONTEST ELIGIBILITY
1. The Contest is open to all Malaysians (the “ Participants") that fall under the following category:
i) Newswav users
ii) Aged 18 and above residing in Malaysia
CONTENT SUBMISSION & REQUIREMENTS

Newswav reserves the right to reject any submissions that are non-relevant or forcefully related to the theme*.
- *Theme refers to the content that is related to cuti-cuti local which includes domestic tourism, local events/activities/festivals, and others that revolve around the theme. -

Eighteen (18) Newswav Top Picks: Newswav will select 18 best produced content at the end of the campaign period and reward them with RM150 each.

Two (2) Special Prizes:
Most Likes on Facebook x1 - The Facebook post with the highest number of likes by the end of the campaign period wins RM300
Most Retweets on Twitter x1 - The Twitter post with the highest number of retweets by the end of the campaign period wins RM300 -
Winners shall be solely determined by the Organiser, whose decision shall be deemed final. No correspondence or appeal(s) will be entertained.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT & PRIZES REDEMPTION

Winner announcements will be made on July 15, 2022 (Friday) via email to all participants.

Grand prize winners must provide a copy of their NRIC for verification purposes by 31 July 2022. Failure to do so may result in their cash prizes being revoked.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or refundable in any way.
GENERAL

All costs and expenses in connection with the production of the Contest Content and the participation of this Campaign shall be fully borne by the Participant.

Contest Content must not be vague, illegal, or unlawful, lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, offensive, must not infringe any third party’s legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or the Company or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). Contest Content must be researched beforehand and to be of truth.

Newswav Sdn. Bhd. reserve the right at its absolute discretion to postpone, reschedule and/or extend the Contest Period and/or terminate the Campaign at any given time without prior notice.
